PERA 2nd PIANO FESTIVAL

The Aim of the Festival     : As Pera Fine Arts School, we congregated many art-lover young people that come from different cities of our country who are interested in music in the 1st Pera Piano Festival in May, 2006. Henceforth, we want to traditionalize our piano festival and organize the second of it this year again in May. For this reason, by getting the young people together in the music platform with Pera 2nd Piano Festival, we aim to :

- Congregate the future contemporary artist nominees who are tied to Atatürk's Principles and Revolutions.
- Young people's interaction with each other
- Bring in fraternity, friendship, love of art and suchlike positive emotions and behaviors through the universality of music,
- Young people's sharing the artistic experiences with their coevals.
- Increase young people's love and interest towards the classical music.
- Consolidate the skills of their ability to express themselves with the piano which is a polyphonic instrument.
- Give young people a chance to recognize the different piano techniques
- Let the young people represent themselves and , as occasion may require, our country in national and international music platforms.
  1. All the young people between the ages 13-18 can apply to the festival.
  2. The applications will be between 08 January - 15 March 2007.
  3. The ones who want to attend, should post the documents below or deliver by hand to the festival committee.
