PERA PIANO COMPETITION SPECIFICATION
  The contest will be done between 10-11 May 2008 as two rounds.
- The applicants must be between the age of 15-20
- The applicants must convey the Application Form to Pera Fine Arts School by hand or post   mail until 15 Mach, 2008. It is compulsory to convey the necessary attachments required in   the Application Form (2 snapshots, a photocopy of ID, the notes of Works that will be played)
- It is compulsory to play the Works from memory.
- It is compulsory to wear concert costume.


PRIZES :

1st Prize : 1.000 YTL
2nd Prize : 750 YTL
3rd Prize : 500 YTL

* The Prizes will be divided into two if the 2nd and 3rd prizes are won by two people.
** Grand Prize : 10 days Paris holiday in half- term of 2009.
***Konyalı Watch will gift wrist watch to every student who obtains grade.

1st PERIOD( at most 25 min )

a) J.S.Bach : One of the 48 Preludes and fuguets or 3 pieces from English or French suits.   (Allemande) Prelude, Sarabande, Gigue.
b) The whole of classic sonata or variations:
  Haydn : Valid sonatas Hobxvı No: 18-42, 44-46, 48-52
  W.A. Mozart : except KV 545
  L.van Beethoven : except op: 49 No: 1,2 op.79

2nd PERIOD ( at most 15 min )

a) 1virtuoso etude : Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, Scriabin, Debussy
b) A Piece from the Romantic period or one work of 20th century composer.
c) One or two pieces for the 100th tribute of N.K Akses
