Pera 1. Guitar Festival

The Aim of the Festival : Pera Fine Arts Education Centre with Pera 1st Guitar Days which aims to realize in May 2008 and traditionalize plans to congregate many art lover young people who are interested in music.

We want to organize the 1st this year with workshops, seminars and competitions. For this reason, by getting the young people together in the music platform with Pera 1st Guitar Days we aim to:

• Congregate the future contemporary artist nominees who are tied to Atatürk’s Principles and Revolutions.
• Young people’s interaction with each other.
• Bring in fraternity, friendship, love of art and suchlike positive emotions and behaviors through the universality of music.
• Young people share the artistic experiences with their coevals.
• Increase young people’s love and interest towards the classical music and consolidate the skills of their ability to express themselves
• Give young people a chance to recognize the different techniques.
• Let the young people represent themselves and, as occasion may require, our country in national and international music platforms.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
  1. Festival categories will be between the ages of 9-13 and 14-17.
  2. The applications will be between the dates 16 February – 20 April 2008.
  3. The ones, who want to attend, should post the documents below or deliver by hand to the festival committee.
